Settled in the heart of California’s San Joaquin Valley, Modesto is a diverse city with a mix of old-world charm and modern city ambitions. Surrounded by Yosemite National Park (east), Sacramento (north) and San Francisco (West), it is the county seat of the Stanislaus County and ranks seventeenth largest city in the state.
